The first post....

Well, it's the end of my first full week as part of the Passion team, and about time I add my general mumblings to the blog.

It's been an exciting time, getting to grips with all the magazines, websites and clients currently under Passion's care, and everything is under control and on target!

I'm hoping that with the combined creative skills of Claire and I, the production management skills of Nigel and the fresh approach to marketing delivered by Sarah and Clare, our clients can expect to see a service far exceeding their expectations, building on the already top-rate experience they have undoubtedly received already.

Time now for a relaxing weekend, and I look forward to everything next week brings.

We're really pleased to announce that The Flash Group's website is now live! www.theflashgroup.co.uk.

Graham Flash and his team have worked so hard over the years, they really deserve a good turn in business. Now that the website has been copywritten, designed and built by Passion, we can move on to our strategically targeted direct mail campaign. Can't wait to see the results!!

It must have a beginning, a middle, but never an end, for it is a process.

You can improve it, perfect it, change it, even pause it.

But you NEVER stop it completely!

Raw Business Magazine - Issue 9

As you can see in our portfolio we produce a 100 page entrepreneurial magazine on behalf of Million Impossible, yes I do agree, very impressive!!

Well, its now time to commence the design of Issue 9 after a very successful Issue 8!

With approximately 60 adverts individually designed and 20 articles produced, we are looking forward to getting our teeth into it! No, not literally of course, matt lamination isn’t all that appetising!

With a deadline fast approaching I should really be sorting through artwork approvals and updating the magazine layout!

Also, I better make Clare a cup of tea or coffee as she now thinks Peter Andre is standing outside Cheltenham Ladies’ College!

That Friday Feeling

Can't believe it's Friday already!! Meeting in Swansea postponed so might go and treat myself to a MacDonalds at lunchtime instead. (After I finish writing 3 proposals for potential new clients).

So glad it's Friday and looking forward to welcoming Tom, our new designer, who is starting with us next Wednesday..

Busy Busy Busy

What a busy week it has been already! Just a few days left this week to tidy things up and get bits done, before we need to start putting together the next issue of Raw magazine.

So I completed one of those online career tests over the weekend just to see what career I should have followed...

Yep the answer was Marketing Director! Now don't get me wrong it really is great to have it confirmed that I am in my ideal job but, well, I was a bit disappointed really.

I guess the result I wanted would have told me I should have been a trapeze artist or perhaps a brain surgeon. For some reason I find it slightly unnerving that I am doing exactly what I should be doing... Must be the rebellious teenager in me!

X-Factor

I should probably be monitoring email statistics or reporting on market research, but I'm actually going to watch The X-Factor!! Gosh - I love Simon Cowell x
